Senior Research Consultant/Moderator

Location: Rochester, NY (or Nationwide)

The Senior Research Consultant/Moderator is responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of SpeedyGroups projects, from upfront study design and planning to analysis and delivery of a report of findings. Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Design of studies based on customer objectives
  • Development of focus group discussion guides
  • Moderation of online (webcam-based) focus groups
  • Analysis of participant feedback
  • Delivery of executive summaries of findings
  • End-to-end project management under tight timelines
  • Leadership and training of junior-level research analysts

The ideal candidate for the Senior Research Consultant position has at least 5 years of relevant experience with a strong background in marketing and/or marketing research on either the client or agency side. This position offers a very flexible schedule, although please note that work on some nights every week will be required (because this is when most focus groups are conducted). Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with short deliverable timelines is a must.

Research Analyst/Moderator

Research Assistant

Location: Rochester, NY

The Research Assistant is responsible for supporting the Research Analysts and Consultants to ensure the successful delivery of every SpeedyGroups project. Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Design of participant recruitment screeners
  • Development/programming of screeners in online survey platforms
  • Outbound communications to participants pre-and-post study
  • Scheduling and management of online focus group sessions
  • Administration and tracking of participant incentives
  • Participant support and management
  • Updating project management and back-end systems

The ideal candidate has a background, interest or degree in marketing and/or marketing research and an strong interest in growing with the company to eventually become a Research Analyst/Moderator. This position offers a very flexible schedule, although please note that work on some nights every week may be required (because this is when most focus groups are conducted). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short deliverable timelines is a must.
